Where do you host sessions in New York City?

Anywhere you feel comfortable! In the past, I have done sessions at New York Public Library (NYPL) branches, Jewish Community Center (JCC) locations, school cafeterias, and at my students' apartments.

What age range do you tutor?

I work with students of all ages, from pre-kindergarten to college and lifelong learners.

What does travel advising include?

Each 1-hour session is all-inclusive and consists of a:

1) short questionnaire of your trip (location, budget, interests, vacation style),

2) colorful, printable graphic to use on your journey,

3) detailed itinerary (including locations of attractions/restaurants, average time spent at sites, cost),

4) alternative options for restaurants, hotels, and attractions for inclement weather/closures,

5) useful phrasebook in the language of the country you're traveling to (if international).

What experience do you have working with children?

I regularly babysit for New York City families. I have given lectures at both public and private schools and have been fingerprinted by the NYC Department of Education (DOE) Personnel Eligibility Tracking System (PETS). I have participated in DOE trainings to work with minors and worked as an astronomer at a DOE-approved middle school summer camp for two years. I am also a mother to a toddler.
